Our R&D team is growing and looking for a motivated and creative Mechanical Engineer to take part in the development of the next generation of batteries. In this job you’ll be working in a multi-disciplinary R&D team in collaboration with our UK-based team. You will have to challenge yourself to utilize disciplines and technologies you haven’t encountered before. The job includes design of instruments, participating in assemblies, testing and more.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Design feasibility and testing devices

• Design of large systems for full scale mass production systems 

• Working with the chemistry team to optimize the systems’ performance

• Plan and conduct experiments together with other team members

• Participate in planning optimization of  production scale-up

Pre-requisites (must):

 

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

• 3 years experience in product development in a commercial environment

• Practical attitude and hands-on experience

• Ability to develop and implement ideas with minimal guidance

• Creative. Can bring and implement “out of the box” solutions

• Team player. Develop a strong collaborative relationship with other team members

צוות הפיתוח גדל ומחפש מהנדס מכונות מוכשר ויצירתי לקחת חלק בפיתוח סוללות העתיד. בתפקיד זה, תעבוד בצוות רב תחומי בישראל ובשת"פ עם צוות הפיתוח שלנו באנגליה. תצטרך לאתגר את עצמך ולעסוק בטכנולוגיות ותחומי מקצוע להם לא נחשפת בעבר. התפקיד כולל פיתוח מכשירים, הפעלת ספקים, השתתפות בהרכבות, ניסויים ועוד.

 

תחומי אחריותך:

 

• תכנון של מערכות לבדיקות היתכנות ובהמשך מערכות יצור

• אופטימיזציה של תהליכי הייצור של ה- Smart 3D current collectors, שבבסיס הטכנולוגיה של החברה

• הנחייה של קבלני המשנה התומכים בעבודת הפיתוח  והיצור

• תכנון וביצוע ניסויים יחד עם חברי צוות אחרי

• השתתפות בחשיבה ותכנון לקראת אופטימיזציה של תהליכים לשם יצור המוני

 

דרישות מוקדמות (חובה):

 

• תואר ראשון בהנדסת מכונות

• 3 שנים ניסיון פיתוחי בסביבה תעשייתית 

• גישה פרקטית- hands on

• יכולת עבודה עצמאית עם מינימום הדרכה ופיקוח

• שחקן צוות, היודע ליצור שיתופי פעולה עם האנשים סביבו 

• יצירתיות. יכולות עבודה ומציאת פתרונות "מחוץ לקופסא"

• יכולת למידה עצמית מהירה וטובה
