VP HR / Tel Aviv

About the Position

We are recruiting an experienced HR executive to take ownership of key organizational processes and lead the HR strategy in our company. Your overarching goal will be implementing an organizational growth plan that will help scale our company while maintaining our company values: Be Daring, Be Quick and Agile, Trust one another, Own your work, and that We Care.

As VP HR you will be a key member and collaborate with the entire management team to support business needs, reporting directly to the CEO. You will partner with our managers and teams to support their professional development and to successfully scale our business. Set the HR department’s budget, lead our activities regarding organizational design, manage culture and its expression via company work policies and norms, lead our employee experience and full lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and retention, performance evaluation, incentive and benefit plans, diversity initiatives and more. This is a global position and will require  overseeing sites in Israel, UK, USA, and Germany and traveling to those sites. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing the team that recruits employees in our different geographies, creating and executing an incredible onboarding experience for new employees, managing all employee success and growth initiatives, supporting and coaching managers on leadership.

A successful candidate will have overseen a global expansion of a rapidly growing company, will have experience recruiting and designing international interdisciplinary teams, will be eager to work hard and be creative, and be passionate about building an outstanding team that is committed to our goal of building better batteries that can power cleaner energy around the world.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Set a strategic vision for company organizational structure, including geographic expansion, identifying key hires, and setting interdepartmental working structures and norms 

  • Set policies for employee satisfaction and personal development

  • Set the HR department budget

  • Work closely with managers and  teams to enable smooth interdepartmental collaboration and effective communication

  • Maintain Employee Handbook and recommend changes

  • In alignment with organizational standards, communicate and implement international HR policies, procedures, programs, and laws. 

  • Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan


About You 

  • Proven experience (10+ years) of organizational HR leadership 

  • Experience in professionally developing teams and managers, including executive level

  • Experience leading the people and organizational work at fast growing startups with a global footprint

  • Deep familiarity with HR processes and their integration into the nature and culture of the organization

  • Experience recruiting and managing an interdisciplinary and diverse workforce, with a strong preference for experience at a deep tech / hardware/ manufacturing company 

  • Creativity in problem-solving and resourcefulness across all stages of the hiring and employment lifecycle

  • High business acumen and ability to combine strategic thinking with outstanding operational execution

  • A natural leader with a hands-on approach and fantastic communication skills

  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English
