Technical Project Manager / London


At Addionics, a fast growing startup, we are revolutionizing battery technology. Our smart 3D cell design will allow a step-change in battery performance. By focusing on battery physics we can achieve higher energy density, lower charging time, and improved heat safety. We are a venture-backed startup based in London and Tel Aviv, at an exciting growth stage.


We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join us in leading our UK battery technology/manufacturing development.  As an early member of the team, you will have significant influence over building the company’s technical roadmap alongside senior management.  In this role, you will be expected to take full ownership and responsibility over all aspects of project management, from setting the strategy, goals and objectives to leading their successful implementation. 


What you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely with our CSO, CTO, COO and our technical team to establish a roadmap, milestones and timelines across all R&D and technical scale-up efforts. 

  • Focusing on strategic planning, budgeting, progress updates and defining operational priorities.

  • To act as a liaison between senior management and technical team members

  • Coordinating and managing projects across both the engineering and electrochemistry teams to ensure smooth communication in order to achieve our product and commercial roadmap

  • Introducing processes across the organization to enable effective and efficient execution of our ambitious company goals

  • Preparing performance reports to support senior management

  • Manage communication with clients and technical partners 

  • Project support for engineering, electrochemistry and manufacturing teams: single point of contact for timing and budget issues, assisting in technical discussions and meetings. 

  • Ownership of overall procurement timing & budget


What we expect from you:

  • 5yr experience in end-to-end technical project management including experience managing multiple projects simultaneously - essential

  • Budget & resource management experience - essential

  • Excellent communication skills - essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field - essential

  • Experience of working within a technical or production-related environment

  • Experience in leading projects in a battery company

  • Knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes
