Addionics to Collaborate on a Resilient Supply Chain for Next-Generation Batteries
Addionics’ latest collaboration sees us partnering with the Centre of Process Innovation (CPI) and the University of Warwick’s WMG, to improve lithium-ion battery cell performance and manufacturing processes by using our Smart 3D Electrodes and AI technology.
Known as Project STELLAR (Smart Three-dimensional ELectrode Lithium-ion batteries with Automated Robotics), the project is supported by Innovate UK, a government-funded body that focuses on driving productivity and economic growth through the development of new ideas.
Addionics’s aim is to contribute in achieving the next step-change in lithium-ion battery performance and to scale low-cost manufacturing to meet growing EV demands.
